Sister reviews focus on aspects that matter most for health-conscious consumers:

Unlike traditional beauty reviews that focus purely on aesthetics, Sister reviews consider how products align with health and ingredient transparency values.

Who Can Submit Reviews

Reviews are open to registered Sister community members who have used the products they're reviewing. We encourage honest, balanced feedback that helps others make informed decisions.

Review Guidelines

To maintain a helpful, trustworthy review community:

Be specific: Share details about your skin type, concerns, and how you used the product
Be honest: Include both positives and negatives
Be respectful: Critique products, not other reviewers
Disclose: If you received a product for free or have any brand relationship, please mention it

How Reviews Influence Scoring

Currently, community reviews are displayed alongside products to provide additional context, but they do not directly affect our ingredient-based health scores. Our scoring methodology is based on objective ingredient analysis rather than subjective user feedback.

In the future, we may introduce community sentiment indicators that complement our core scoring, but any such features will be clearly distinguished from our ingredient safety ratings.

Moderation

Reviews are moderated to ensure they:

Relate to the actual product being reviewed
Don't contain offensive or inappropriate content
Don't appear to be spam or fake reviews

We do not remove negative reviews simply because they're critical; honest feedback is valuable.
